The summer I turned 15, I was so excited to begin working at Chick-fil-A! my parents were eager, too, under the guise of a Christian environment. Finally, finally, my daughter will be so safe! But, little did they realize, that is when I would be exposed to some of the most racially charged, overly explicit conversations I had ever heard.
