Common Sense isn’t so Common.

We here in Texas are no strangers to gun-related violence. This year alone, there have been 27 school-related shootings. The tragedy in Uvalde, TX comes just after a shooting at Top’s supermarket in Buffalo, N.Y. Education Week has been tracking school shootings since 2018. According to its database, 119 such incidents have taken place since then. The U.S has surpassed 200 mass shootings this year alone. An independent data collection agency has counted 212 mass shootings thus far.

The question that echos in my mind, and I am sure the minds of everyone else, is what do we do…
